Charity of the Year
We don’t just ‘do the right thing’ by our team and clients. Supporting charities and our local community is also at the top of our priority list.
Each year, we proudly select a local Charity of the Year, and for that charity we provide their HR support for the year*. We also help raise awareness of the charity and what they do.
Are you a charity interested in becoming our Charity of the Year for 2025?
Please email emma@gatewayhr.com with some more information about your charity and how help with your HR would make a difference to you in 2025. We look forward to learning more about your mission and exploring how we can make a difference together.
Our Charity of the Year for 2023 & 2024 is Northampton Saints Foundation
We are delighted to be supporting the work of the amazing Northampton Saints Foundation during 2023 & 2024. To understand more about what they do, watch this short video
In addition to supporting the Foundation with management and leadership training, we are proud to say that our team member David took on an epic challenge to raise both money and awareness.
In June 2023 , David cycled 984 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise funds for the Northampton Saints Foundation. Just one man and his bike (and tent), camping each night so that all money raised could do directly to the charity. To date David has raised just under £1500 and would like to thank everyone who donated to this amazing cause. You can still donate here:

We offer a 10% discount on our services (except standard levels) to charities and 3rd sector organisations.
Team Volunteering Roles
In addition to our Charity of the Year program and HR Hub offer, our team is actively engaged in supporting the charitable sector in other ways.
Emma Wynne is a Trustee for North Northants Citizens Advice and also Orbis Multi Academy Trust.
Jodie Young is a Trustee for Wicksteed Park Charitable Trust and also volunteers as a social media co-ordinator for Healing Hearts Together.
David Wynne volunteers with Northampton Saints Foundation with their incredibly important heritage work.
Volunteering Days: Every employee at Gateway HR is encouraged to spend one workday each quarter volunteering with a charity of their choice. This initiative helps our team connect with causes they care about while making a positive impact in our community.
