FAQs - Feel confident before you begin

Who is the Level 3 qualification suited for?

Level 3 is perfect for first-time managers, team leaders, or supervisors looking to develop core leadership skills. Academic entry requirements – none. Just a desire to grow and lead with confidence.

This course is also ideal for people who have been a manager or team leader for years but never had any training – we know there are 100s of you out there, and we have trained many 100s too!

What does the qualification equate to academically?

The Level 3 CMI qualification is equivalent to an A‑Level or BTEC National Diploma and is widely recognised in the UK.

Are there assignments or exams?

This is an assignment-based qualification. There are no final exams— just one assignment that is completed in a work book – so no need to brush up your essay writing skills!

The assignment is 2500 words and there is plenty of support available for you, including top tips for assignment writing, study clinics and assignment checking before submission.

I’m nervous about writing assignments – will I be supported?

Absolutely. From tutor feedback and examples to live clinics and one-to-one support, you’re never on your own. Most learners begin anxious and finish with confidence—and our pass rate is high because we support every step.

How relevant is this to workplace practice?

Every module is rooted in real-world application—and has been designed and delivered by tutors who still work as in the business world. You’ll apply new skills in your current role from day one. Post-course, you’ll leave with a nationally recognised qualification and tools you can use immediately.

Can I progress further afterwards?

Yes! Completing a Level 3 Award then gives you options to complete more units and progress to a Level 3 Certificate or even Diploma. You can also progress to higher levels such as the Level 5.

If I’m self-funding, can I spread the cost?

Yes - you can pay over three months. We aim to make investing in your development simple and affordable.

Can I speak to someone before enrolling?

Yes, our team is always happy to chat. No obligation—just honest, helpful advice to support your decision. You can book a discovery call here.

What technology do I need?

All you need is internet access and a computer with standard office software. Materials are accessible via our system and study clinics are run online.

Every £1 invested in management training delivers £6 back – and qualified managers report pay rises, promotions, and greater confidence.
